The project “Social support for Roma community” is financed by the International Adoption Service of Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of France.
The main project goal is to support children, families and pregnant women at risk to improve their life quality and to prevent the child abandonment in institutions.
There will be formed groups for early development for 15 children from Roma families at risk at the age from 4 to 12 as well children from Family type centers will be included in groups. The goal in groups is to form basic personal, educational and social skills in order to break out the cycle of poverty and social exclusion.
The project includes consultations for parents of the children for development of responsible parental behavior and understanding for the importance of education as a condition for future socialization of their children as well they will be supported in choosing school for their child.
The project starts in July 2012 and finishes in July 2013.
